At Delta Community Supports, we focus all of our attention on
the individual, providing the best combination of services to
fit his or her needs. From residential services and work options,
to foster care and adoption, we know the value that dignity and
respect can bring to each person’s life.
We have served adults with disabilities for more than 25 years
through:
- Residential Services: safe, comfortable, community-based
housing with opportunities for a full life; in-home care, and
respite care
- Supportive Employment Services: work options that build pride
and skill through Pennsylvania Industries for the Blind and
Handicapped.
- In-home Supports: assistance and companionship options for
adults with disabilities, designed to support family caregivers
and to strengthen family connections.
- The Community Center: social and recreation options tailored
to the individual’s needs and interests
- Administrative Services: a hub of governmental advocacy,
resources, and support for all of our divisions and human
services professionals
Since 1977, we have broadened our assistance to include:
- Foster Care and Adoption Services: temporary or permanent
family placement, including children with disabilities, and
respite care
- Childtymes Day Care: professional care for children 20 months
to school age through an integrated program, serving children with
and without disabilities.
- Developmental Resources Corp.: serving people with developmental
disabilities in northern and central New Jersey.
Notice of Nondescrimination in Services. Admissions, the provision
of services, and referrals of consumers shall be made without
regard to race, color, religious creed, handicap, ancestry,
national origin, age, sex or Limited English Proficiency (LEP).
Program services shall be made accessible to eligible handicapped
persons through the most practical and economically feasible
methods available. These methods include, but are not limited to,
equipment redesign, the provision of aids, and the use of
alternative service delivery locations. Structural modifications
shall be considered only as a last resort among available methods.
In addition, as part of the admissions process, consumers or their
family members shall identify if the individual is in need of
language assistance services. The Division Director shall ensure
that each person with LEP shall have meaningful and equal access
to services and benefits. The Division Director shall ensure the
provision of competent, free language assistance services to
individuals identified with LEP.
