Services

At Delta Community Supports, we focus all of our attention on the individual, providing the best combination of services to fit his or her needs. From residential services and work options, to foster care and adoption, we know the value that dignity and respect can bring to each person’s life.

We have served adults with disabilities for more than 25 years through:

  • Residential Services: safe, comfortable, community-based housing with opportunities for a full life; in-home care, and respite care
  • Supportive Employment Services: work options that build pride and skill through Pennsylvania Industries for the Blind and Handicapped.
  • In-home Supports: assistance and companionship options for adults with disabilities, designed to support family caregivers and to strengthen family connections.
  • The Community Center: social and recreation options tailored to the individual’s needs and interests
  • Administrative Services: a hub of governmental advocacy, resources, and support for all of our divisions and human services professionals

Since 1977, we have broadened our assistance to include:

Notice of Nondescrimination in Services. Admissions, the provision of services, and referrals of consumers shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, handicap, ancestry, national origin, age, sex or Limited English Proficiency (LEP).

Program services shall be made accessible to eligible handicapped persons through the most practical and economically feasible methods available. These methods include, but are not limited to, equipment redesign, the provision of aids, and the use of alternative service delivery locations. Structural modifications shall be considered only as a last resort among available methods.

In addition, as part of the admissions process, consumers or their family members shall identify if the individual is in need of language assistance services. The Division Director shall ensure that each person with LEP shall have meaningful and equal access to services and benefits. The Division Director shall ensure the provision of competent, free language assistance services to individuals identified with LEP.
